Cass Dems June Meeting – Pride in the Park!
We didn't want to get rained out again, so we're moving the celebration inside!
Join us on Thursday, June 25th, at 6:00 PM as we celebrate Pride Month together at IVES CELEBRATION CENTER (N. side of Memorial Park!
We'll be firing up the grill and providing hot dogs. If you'd like to bring a side dish or dessert to share, we'd love to have it!
This special evening will be led by our Cass County LGBTQ+ Alliance, who will share their mission and the work they're doing to build a more welcoming and inclusive community right here in Cass County.
We'll also meet Anna, who will introduce Victoria's Closet, a free gender-affirming clothing resource serving our community.
We're honored to welcome our special guest, MO House Rep. Wick Thomas. Raised right here in Cass County, Rep. Thomas made history as the first transgender member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Come hear about their journey, their work in Jefferson City, and help us give them a warm welcome back to Cass County.
