2023 Earth Day Celebration!

Join the Cass County Democratic Party, in partnership with Deep Roots KC, Prairie Wildflower Foundation, Missouri Department of Conservation, Roberts Restoration, Native Garden Design, Paula Diaz: The GardeNerd, Ripple Glass, NCH Used Bookstore and Reading Room, and many others! 

When:  Saturday, April 22, 2023; Noon-3:00 PM, Rain or Shine

Where: Moon Valley Park, 500 Chestnut Circle, Raymore, MO

Special Guest, Jackson County Commissioner Jalen Anderson, will join us at 1:00 pm to talk about the proposed landfill. #KilltheFill

• Creating your own Edible Beaver Dam (limited to first 25 kids)

• Guided “Leave No Trace” Nature/Scavenger Hike

• Native Seed Packets and Tree Saplings (while supplies last)

• Information on Growing Native Gardens

• Information on reducing, reusing, and recycling in Cass County
