TELL MARK ALFORD to stand up and defend the Constitution by re-asserting congressional authority of the purse. 

SAMPLE SCRIPT:
My name is ______, and I'm a Missouri voter who Mark Alford works for. I'm asking him to stand up and defend the Constitution by re-asserting congressional authority of the purse. The president cannot control the federal budget by executive action, and his cancellation of federal grant and loan programs will do extreme harm to too many people in his district (cities, SNAP, farmers, veterans, schools, drug abuse programs - it's a LONG list!
Will Mark Alford support the Constitution on this issue? My friends and I are very concerned about this and want to know he will stand against unlawful overreach."

State government should be about good roads, excellent schools, and properly functioning State agencies.
The culture "Wars" started to make a small segment of voters mad. Mad enough to show up at the polls and vote.
I am all about Freedom.
You decide what book to read, get a tattoo or not, wear your hair as you like, marry who you want, raise your children in a church, or home school, or send them to a public school. Have a breast reduction or a breast enlargement. Wear the clothes you want.
This is the US you have the Freedom to make your choices.
You do not have the Freedom to dictate to others how they have to dress, wear their hair, what they eat, when or how they worship or who they marry.
For now, we also have the freedom of Assembly, to gather with like-minded people as you see fit. Book club, car shows, church service, bingo at the Legion or attend a Pride event.
You do you and let others do the same.

I'm Jeanette, and I'm running for the U.S. House of Representatives for Missouri Congressional District 4. 

​I never thought I'd be running for office, but it seems like we're losing the Missouri values that I was taught to uphold, and I'd like to see them return. 

I was born and raised right here in Missouri, on a 350-acre historic dairy farm in Webster County, where I worked the livestock and fields alongside my father and my 7 siblings. I spent 28 years as a single mother.

​All my life has been spent serving others. From farming to waitressing, building computer components in a factory, packing supplies in a grocery warehouse, and serving 30 years with the United States Postal Service.

​I am pro-farmer, pro-family, pro-small business. I believe in our Constitutional rights, common sense gun laws, education for our children, and reformed immigration. I believe in equal rights for all people—and I believe in Missouri.

For far too long our district (Belton/Raymore) has lacked a respected voice in Jefferson City! What will Pam do? 

  • She'll be a voice for public education
  • As a successful small business owner, she'll grow our economy, jobs, and businesses
  • She'll work for access to affordable healthcare for ALL
  • She'll negotiate to get the already available funding to widen I-49 from 155th St. to Highway 7
  • She'll be an independent voice of integrity

Cass County Democrats endorse ballot measures

The Cass County Democratic Central Committee has endorsed a YES vote on Amendment 3 and Prop A and a NO Vote on Amendment 7. The committee remains neutral on Amendments 2, 5, and 6.
The committee agreed that a Vote of NO on the retention of Supreme Court Justices KELLY C. BRONIEC and GINGER K. GOOCH was warranted, but a formal vote was not taken.
